Breakfast tasted great, but using keys to unlock the door and turn on the lights felt dated.

10h pile heure du check in l hote est venu frapper à la porte, elle nous a retirer la carte d acces afin d eteindre la lumiere, je trouvais la facon de faire une peu violente. alors qu on etait entrain de verifier si on avait rien oublie. dans le noir c est plus complique de voir

The location was unbeatable and cheaper than nearby hotels; the building is old but clean, and I was surprised to find a nice heat‑retaining mug in the room. The free Wi‑Fi hardly worked, some wallpaper was peeling (not a problem if you’re just sleeping), and the hot spring could have been warmer.

The station was close, the breakfast was plentiful, and there was a bathhouse for soaking. If you don’t speak Japanese well, communication can feel awkward.
