“Beautiful place with lovely tatami”

This place is a gem! The interior is beautiful, and we stayed in the Tiger room, which was fantastic. The tatami had a heavenly scent, and we slept comfortably. There was plenty of space to relax and hang out. Even though the building is a single structure, each room has its own toilet and shower down the hallway. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it was well stocked. Tamana isn’t a large city, so we were pleased to find such a place there. The host was very kind, provided a lot of information, and accommodated our late check‑in and early check‑out. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.

I stayed here to visit the Kokoro Pia Museum. The owner was very kind and courteous, and he listened closely to my travel questions. He also took many cute photos for me, which I was very happy about. The room was spacious, clean, and the Japanese‑style design was calm and lovely. Among my Kyushu stays, this was the most comfortable. I’ll definitely book again when I come to Tamana next time.

“Suite impériale Tamana”

The host was very friendly and helpful, eager to show us the region. The suite was more like an imperial room, with all the expected comforts and plenty of tips for planning our outings. The only drawback was that it took 30 minutes on foot to reach the train station.

“アットホームで快適”

Despite being run by a single person, the owner still came to pick us up at the nearest station. Overall, the place felt clean. However, there was a noticeable dampness inside, and towels left to dry in the room didn’t dry at all even after a whole night.
