The room was clean, but the building itself is ancient and in dire need of a makeover. Outside the room, the rest of the property looked run‑down and dirty. The bar only offered the cheapest drinks, and the vibe felt like a very new‑age, hippy joint.

Finally, a hotel that really gets it. The breakfast was simple, healthy, and the plates were unreal; coffee came in ceramic cups. Every room had recycling and trash cans, there was plenty of community space to mingle, and the pool was beautiful. The only downside was the heavy road construction in the area, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The vibe was great, everything was spotless and comfy, and the service was outstanding. Coming from Fairfield Marriott, I had to find a new place because Marriott let me down; SCP made my Colorado Springs visit enjoyable and totally worth it. I’ll definitely return. The only gripe was the lack of orange juice—LOL, nothing else disappointed me.

I snagged a last‑minute one‑night stay here, but the breakfast was limited to coffee, juices, and muffins or rolls, so I skipped it.
