The staff were extremely rude. An old man checked us in, and a few hours later, when we left the room, a woman took our key and demanded we pay for the booking again. They just can’t agree on anything. We were told several times not to smoke in the room, yet the moment we opened the door we were hit with a sharp cigarette smell, the blanket was smoked, and we could only stay one night because the odor was unbearable.

The place is reasonably central, the facilities are adequate, and the motorcycle parking is secure. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building looks quite run down—“faded elegance” would fit—but that adds to its charm and shouldn’t deter you from staying. The breakfast selection isn’t comprehensive.

The location is great and the parking is valuable. The sheets felt very synthetic or there was a plastic sheet underneath; I didn’t like them at first glance but I still slept very well.

The location is excellent. Breakfast was fine, but the bread and brioche needed to be fresher. The lighting was poor, even in the hallway.
