Both Ahmed and Ali make you feel right at home, sharing personal stories about nature, farming, and day trips that really enhanced our visit. The homemade breakfast and dinner from Ali’s wife were tasty, and the balcony view—shaded by Omani curtains—was unforgettable.

The setting is picturesque, the welcome superb, and the village is a must‑visit. The terrace breakfast and dinner are delicious, but the mattress is too hard.

The hosts are incredibly hospitable and the rooms have a traditional feel. The balcony offers an excellent view, and the location is unbeatable, right next to public parking—though you’ll need to be lucky for a spot in high season. It’s probably the best value if you’re staying overnight in Misfah. There was construction next door, but I get that it’s almost finished— the family is building another guesthouse. Dinner was adequate, not exceptional, and during Ramadan we felt we got leftovers with rather small portions.

A fantastic place with stunning valley views. The breakfast is great, and the host is friendly and makes you feel at home—perfect for starting a bit of hiking.
