Evening live music is enjoyable, but the one‑hour show from 8 pm to 9 pm can be noisy for older guests or kids who need to sleep early.

The place was stunning, offering a wild view of rice fields and a rustic vibe, but the rooms seemed poorly maintained, swarmed by about 80 live mosquitoes in the shower, with a strong smell and weak AC; even after an upgrade we still felt uneasy, and the hotel restaurant was bad while breakfast was decent, not great but not terrible.

The setting offers great views of the rice fields and the breakfast buffet is very good with plenty of choices, yet the staff were dishonest and seemed unwilling to work, charging us twice for the room by claiming the card machine hadn’t processed the first payment even though we showed the bank receipt; they wouldn’t let us access the room until we paid cash again, and when we asked for a receipt from the machine they said it never prints one, which was odd because we’d seen it print before. After we complained they tried to fool us with language barriers, showing us fake machine tickets that didn’t match the amounts, then lied about using two different machines before finally admitting they had two. They promised a refund that afternoon but never filed any claim with their bank until the next day, and then told us to sort it out with our own bank. When we asked about tours to the rice fields they advertised, they said they didn’t offer any and suggested we walk around ourselves. The room had spectacular views, but nearby villas blasted music at full volume, and the room contained geckos and ants—there was even a sign telling us not to be scared or call reception if we saw them. Exposed, loose wiring in the pool was also a safety hazard.
