We liked our stay at Peace Corner: the room had all the essentials, including electric blankets for chilly nights, a small fridge, kettle, tea, sugar, and milk; self‑check‑in was convenient, the location was great, and parking was secure; the only downside was that Wi‑Fi was down both the arrival day and the next day—hope they sort it out next time. I recommend it!

I appreciated the special touch of Old Brown Sherry and hot chocolate in the cottage, but the access road to the parking lot needs improvement, especially for drivers with smaller cars.

The room was spotless and cozy, and the quiet street location was great while still being close to restaurants; it offered excellent value, and although I left early and didn’t meet the staff in person, the host was very helpful over the phone. I can’t think of any negatives.

The bed and electric blanket were very comfortable, and it was nice to have a little sherry to greet us; the lady who helped set up the TV was friendly and helpful. However, the crockery and kitchenware were very basic, the toaster wasn’t wired so we had to unplug the fridge to use it, there was no heater so the unit was cold, and the internet didn’t work at all during our stay.

The fireplace was lovely, but the king‑bed room actually only had a shower, so the description and photos need updating.
