The room was fantastic and the garden was beautiful and well‑kept, perfect for relaxing. The side room/reading area was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with a convincing welcoming culture. It felt like a fairy‑tale, even without the nearby castle.

Located in a gorgeous little village, the Relais des Dalles is a very charming place for a quiet stay in a typical local house. Romain and Emelyne welcomed us warmly, offering plenty of advice and recommendations about the area. The room, tastefully decorated, was spacious and the adjoining bathroom was large, clean and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent, complete and full of local products. The establishment has embraced the “relais” tradition and immerses guests in its history, which is explained in a small booklet on hand. Finally, book the restaurant in advance; the menu offers unbeatable value for money, with well‑presented dishes, tasty food and local ingredients. Nothing negative – if we had known, we would have extended our stay.

I had been to this place before for a meal, so when we returned from SW France we decided to stay, and it was exactly what we needed. The rooms were perfect and the food was perfect.

The room was very nice and suitably sized, the restaurant was truly excellent and the garden pleasant in the evening; we enjoyed the good breakfast only on the first day before switching to the superb croissants from the nearby bakery, yet the internal car park only had three spaces so we could use it just the first day and the recent climate changes left us missing air‑conditioning, especially on day one.
