This place is a hidden gem in Bali! 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 모든 순간이 다 좋았습니다. 온가족이 애정을 담아 깔끔히 운영하시는 모습에 감동 받았습니다. 테라스앞 정원의 높은 나무를 보며 눈뜨는 아침과 매일 아침 먹었던 오믈렛은 정말 최고였어요. 질문과 요청사항에 친절하고 신속하게 응대해 주신 것도 감사했어요. 객실 및 욕실 청결도는 최최최최최상입니다!! 첫 발리 여행을 최고의 발리여행으로 만들어 주셔서 감사했어요. 다음번에도 꼭 다시 방문할 예정입니다. NOTHING!!!

Gusde’s guest house is a tiny family-run spot in the city centre, yet it stays away from street noise. The brand‑new building boasts thoughtfully chosen furniture and a gorgeous design, and the bed is supremely comfortable. I appreciated being within walking distance of the Yoga Barn and the famous Sayuri restaurant, and the small garden in front offers a cozy place to relax in nature. Huge thanks to Jero, Gustut and Gusde for their amazing hospitality, warmth and attention to every detail.

I first stayed at Taman Cahaya with a friend for six nights, and after my friend left I extended my stay by 11 nights. The hosts, Jero and Gustut, and their son Gusde are outstanding. The guesthouse sits in the beautiful grounds of their family estate and is so centrally located that I could walk everywhere instead of taking a taxi or ride‑share. The family is highly attentive to guests’ preferences, engaging as much or as little as we like, and never makes anything feel like a hassle. They treat you like family while respecting privacy, and their sense of humour and warmth moved me deeply. Jero, the quiet yet powerful mother of Gusde, and Gusde themselves are fantastic cooks. Through their son‑in‑law’s company I booked two full‑day tours that were tailored to our slower, nature‑focused pace and avoided typical tourist spots; the guides were accommodating and offered great suggestions we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Thank you, Gusde, Gustut and Jero, for giving us such a truly beautiful and nourishing experience.
