I recently stayed at a hotel with a lovely location and an impressive view, but unfortunately, it won't last long due to the construction of new buildings in front of it. The area was quiet and peaceful, but the hotel itself had its share of issues. The doors were incredibly thin, allowing every sound to echo through the room, and the noise from the washing machine on the upper floor was a constant disturbance.

The hotel staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help—while breakfast was delicious, and although the original triple room felt cramped, they promptly moved us to a larger one for added comfort; the only drawback was the location, a little far from Ella’s centre, though a short tuk‑tuk ride made it easy to get around.

The room had all the necessary comforts, was spacious and clean. The breakfast was well prepared, and the staff were smiling. The hotel is far from the city bustle; it takes a tuk‑tuk to reach the town centre. However, like most hotels on the island, they do not clean the rooms every day.

My stay at this hotel was truly excellent, thanks to the delicious dosa they made and the friendly, helpful staff. They even went out of their way to accommodate our van driver, making our stay even more convenient. However, the hotel's location was a bit of a letdown, as it was a long walk from the main street and required a vehicle to get to nearby restaurants. Despite this, the staff's kindness and the tasty dosa made up for the inconvenience.
