The garden was beautiful, but I wanted a nicer room for that price in terms of furniture. The toilet smelled a bit and tended to clog.

We chose this hotel on our way back from Punta Arenas because it had a pool, but it was disappointing. It was our last night in Costa Rica and we had many options, yet we booked rooms that had no air‑con, which was surprising for the price compared to our other stays. They called the rooms ‘villas’ but we had to pay extra. No one was on duty, the staff were friendly but it wasn’t a good pick. The breakfast was lackluster compared to the lovely ones we’d had elsewhere. Overall, poor value and an anticlimax.

The breakfast was normal, the pool was great, and the terrace in the room was nice. I liked it. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were not good, getting into the rooms by car felt dangerous, and the restaurant didn’t meet expectations.
