The room was huge, giving us plenty of space to move around without bumping into each other, and the price and location were great. The only drawback was that we were right at the top of the stairs; as a light sleeper I could hear everyone coming back from a night out, although my husband slept through it all.

Everything you need was in the room, the space was well‑organized and roomy for luggage and belongings. The hotel stored my luggage between checkout and train time without any trouble. The window seating area was lovely. Everything went smoothly and checking in and out was breezy. The dinner and bar were great, and room service was timely and friendly.

The queen room had just been renovated and was spotlessly clean, exactly as shown in the photos, making it perfect for our short stay. It’s a stone’s throw from the town centre and Lake Pertobe, which was super convenient. The only downside was that the space felt a bit cramped for a longer visit, and a microwave would have been handy.
