The Grade II listed building in the heart of Kilburn is beautiful. The room was lovely, the beds comfy, the food good, and the staff super helpful. Transport links are excellent and the neighbourhood is vibrant and diverse.

We spent a lovely one‑night stay at the Black Lion to catch a concert at Wembley. The stadium is just a short tube ride from Kilburn (four stops), and Kilburn station is a five‑minute walk from the hotel. Camden Town is also easily reachable from Brondesbury Train Station, making the location great for exploring. The hotel bar area is stunning the moment you walk in, and that high standard is consistent throughout. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We both slept well, even though the hotel sits on a busy high street. The continental breakfast offered plenty of choice. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. It’s a shame we only stayed one night!
