We had a great time at Moodhu Surf House; the room was very cozy with a great atmosphere. Bill the owner was always there to help with everything, from snorkeling trips to island or boat trips to other surf spots. We’ll definitely come back!

The staff were friendly and responded to all our requests, trying hard to make us comfortable. They offered room cleaning, the manager checked in daily to see if we were satisfied and tried to help in a pleasant way. They provided beach towels on request and always adjusted lunch times. The chef was great, coming to cook just for us—tasty! He increased the portions when we asked, leaving us full and happy. We wish you luck and many guests! Thank you for the hospitality! On the island, insects aren’t a big problem, but my husband got a fever from a mosquito bite. Unfortunately, no one here is insured. The local hospital on the island is very close to the hotel, they accepted us and helped, but they didn’t take any money.

Our stay was the best; the rooms are super good right next to where the boat docks. Bill and his brother are wonderful, helping with everything we needed and making sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. I definitely recommend it. Thanks!

Our stay at Moodhu Guest House was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The rooms were clean, giving a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere after a sunny day. The location is perfect, close to the jetty for easy arrivals and departures, and just a short walk from local shops, great restaurants, and souvenir boutiques, so everything is at your doorstep. The guest house offers several activities: we did a sandbank trip, a fishing excursion, and a delicious BBQ dinner. Although these were paid extras, they were worth every penny. Each event was organized flawlessly with great attention to detail. The highlight was Jabir, who joined us on the excursion; he was incredibly kind, helpful, and reliable. Having such a professional and friendly person made us feel safe and well looked after. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible—he is the best! If you want a place that blends local charm with professional service, Moodhu is the spot. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return.
