The place was in a good spot, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. The fridge and freezer worked fine too. However, the room wasn’t cleaned properly – there were stains on the ceilings, spider webs everywhere, and even black mold in the bathroom seams. I had to bleach it myself to get rid of it. It wasn’t dirty, just not thoroughly cleaned.

If you’re heading to Malmedy, the location of this spot is unbeatable. But the facilities felt like the bare minimum. Towels were a mix of sizes, soap and shampoo came in tiny bottles with no dispensers, and there was no toilet paper holder on the wall. It seemed like they were just ticking boxes rather than aiming for a great stay. I was there during the F1 weekend, so I know the rates are high, but it definitely wasn’t worth the price.

We only had one spoon and one wine glass, and there were no tea towels at all. The dishes had to be washed in the bathroom. I’d have liked instructions for the coffee machine and microwave. The angled entry door was unfamiliar and a bit awkward to use.

Located right in the heart of Malmedy, close to all shops and restaurants, this place covered everything I needed for my visit. It was just what I was looking for.
