The vibrant nightlife near Gare Maritime is a 20‑minute walk, while the Pearl Museum and Faʻaʻā International Airport lie within five‑minute drives.

Fare Suisse was very good for a one‑night stay. The free shuttle is a great perk. Pickup from the ferry and drop off the next morning to the airport was seamless. The shower was nice and hot, and the AC was nice and cool. We had burgers there for dinner, and they were good and a good value. We had the continental breakfast in the morning, which was good but a bit overpriced. The room we had was very small. The bathroom had very little counter space and only two small hooks to hang towels. The bed was too hard for our comfort.

The location and the property itself are very pretty. The stairs are difficult to maneuver with luggage. Check‑out was a bit odd and slow.

The place offers the best value in Tahiti – clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a reasonable price for an overnight stay. The on‑site restaurant serves tasty food at fair prices, the rooms stay spotless, and the hotel’s location lets you stroll easily to the main market; plus they run a convenient shuttle to the airport. The only slight annoyance was the lack of a blow dryer.
