The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the room was simple but nice, with direct beach access and a pleasant view. Too bad the birds don’t come because there are only a few trees nearby. The food was excellent, especially the succulent Cameroon dishes we ordered. The bathroom was very small, and warm water didn’t work; we had to call the receptionist to check. The door couldn’t be opened without the chair blocking it from closing back. Electricity problems arose on the second night after a blackout on the first night, but the staff kept working until it was fixed.

The site is magnificent, the nature is respected, and the staff are very welcoming and dedicated; I’ll return to spend more time there and enjoy all the activities.

I spent three gorgeous nights at Kribi - Lodge, where the staff took great care of us, the food offered excellent value, and the spot right at the beach and near Lobé waterfalls was simply unbeatable; it was a wonderful surprise and I’d definitely recommend it.

The place needs a full rebuild. The doors have holes, you can see your bed from outside, the windows don’t close, the bathroom is cramped and you can’t move around. The bedding is not up to standard, the sheets need changing, there’s a leak problem, the dishes aren’t clean, breakfast is subpar, and the coffee tastes like a sock juice. For the price, you should try harder. The location is ideal, which is a shame.
