Located at Calypso Beach, Crystal Lagoon Lodge boasts stunning sea views from its rooms, each equipped with satellite TV, tea-and-coffee making facilities, and a small bar fridge. Many rooms feature a balcony with ocean views. The lodge offers conference facilities and hosts private functions, and is 5 minutes from Langebaan's centre, with nearby activities including kitesurfing, hiking, and bird watching.

The view was amazing! I loved that the room had a tub and shower. It was so clean and the staff were very friendly. I had to carry my own LARGE suitcase up the stairs because there was no lift or help. An ice pack in the fridge would have been nice, and better seating on the balcony would help.

The views over the ocean and a quiet beach were exquisite, and the service was excellent. I was on a business trip to Saldanha and my mother joined me to see the flowers. When she arrived she wasn’t feeling 100% so she decided to get her own room. Nicole was extremely helpful and arranged a room right next to ours so my mum was just next door. In the morning I went off for meetings until lunch while my mum stayed at the property. Tania’s service was amazing. She looked after my mother, was kind, had a lovely sense of humour, and was incredibly hospitable. Crystal Lagoon Lodge should be very proud of the level of service of their staff, and Ronald was also very helpful at checkout. The stairs were a bit steep for older people.

The room had a really great view, overlooking the whole beach – top. You can go straight from the reception to the beach, couldn’t be better. The beds were also comfortable. The bathroom in the room was integrated, and as often described, it was impossible to shower without flooding – that’s why the windows fog up quickly (we were there in winter). It didn’t bother us, but there is no elevator, so it’s not suitable for people with disabilities. The breakfast was – by far – the worst during three weeks in South Africa.
