“Een hidden gem met 5*service”
Demi and her staff provided excellent service, the location was nice, and the building’s Chinese style was appealing. I can’t think of anything negative.
“Great stay, very helpful staff 🥰”
The old building feels charming, the hot water and heater work well, and the bed is comfortable. The balcony offers a nice view of the field, and the bamboo rafting pier is within walking distance. Breakfast comes with local noodles, or you can pay extra for the western option. A minor issue: the bathroom door doesn’t close properly. I had read about a free dumpling class and a Christmas event, but the staff said business slowed after Covid, so no Christmas event took place.
The staff were amazing, always available on WeChat and offering great suggestions for things to do around Yangshuo throughout the entire stay.
“Comfortable with a homely vibe.”
This is a quaint family‑run business and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us book a driver, tickets to attractions, and were very accommodating. It felt like staying at a friend’s home. Many thanks to Demi and her family who run the place! I can’t think of any negatives.
The hotel sits in a quiet part of town and is conveniently close to biking spots along the Yulong River. Bikes are free and the host helped book all Yangshuo activities. The room is spacious, though there are no elevators. Cleanliness could be better—there was some dust on the wall—but it wasn’t a major problem.
