A wheelchair‑user couldn’t get into the hotel without assistance, and the bathroom lacked any disabled facilities; the toilet seat was loose but was fixed that same day. We weren’t able to obtain an extra blanket or duvet, and the breakfast cut‑off at 9 am was a real disappointment. In short, this isn’t a suitable hotel for retirees.

A pleasant hotel with a very large room, excellent 180 × 200 cm bedding, a spacious Italian‑style shower, a big TV, flawless reception, quiet atmosphere and a good night’s sleep. I’d recommend the Bastion hotel chain, which I found cheaper than other places; I’ve already spent four nights at their Dutch properties and have always been satisfied. Nothing negative to note – everything was perfect for our night.
