Everything was perfect: unbeatable location, excellent service, very clean and comfortable. The only thing I’d like is a better selection of wine.

The location and facilities are great. The only issue was that towels weren’t changed in the afternoon even if they were dirty—one lady had a bird stain on hers and they didn’t replace it because it wasn’t the right time, even though the staff were available and the service was open.

My mum and I stay at Riu Costa del Sol every year and it’s always flawless. The staff are patient with older guests, rooms are clean, food is fantastic, there are three warm, clean pools and plenty of activities—no complaints. I’d just like guests to avoid leaving towels on beds early in the morning and then not returning them until the afternoon, especially for those who move slowly to the pool because of age or infirmity.

I’ve loved this hotel on past visits for its accommodation, cleanliness, comfort, staff, and food quality, and that was true again this time. Previously we knew there was a cat outside, which was fine, but this time the cat had free access to the indoor reception, sleeping on furniture and roaming around, which we found unacceptable. Even after we mentioned it at reception, nothing changed, so we can’t book again without assurance that indoor areas will be pet‑free.

We’ve been coming here for several years; the reception staff do their best, the entertainment is good, and the bar staff are top. The kitchen is poor: raw chicken at lunch, eggs with shells, dry bread, very little variety—except on the day they hand out surveys (how clever) when they prepare some luxury items. The next morning, another small 6‑point rating.
