Antica Dimora Sant'Anna

“Vou recomendar a todos os meus amigos que forem a Florença este alojamento! Sem sombra de dúvidas!”

I’ve stayed at many places, but this one tops them all. The room smelled fresh and was impeccably maintained by the sisters who welcomed us with such warmth and friendliness. The air conditioning worked wonderfully by the end of the day. When the shampoo and shower gel ran out, the sisters quickly restocked them, and every night the room smelled as if we had just arrived. They even let us dry our clothes on the rack—what a thoughtful touch!

“Clean, nice and a simple hotel with very friendly staff.”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless with its own bathroom. It could be more comfortable and a bit more soundproof, though.

The service was excellent, the backyard and balcony room were lovely, and the location is great.

The place was very clean, but it wasn’t what I expected. Basically, the rooms feel like a “convent” and the structure is very dated. I would have liked more information beforehand. There is no sign of “Antica Dimora Sant’Anna” on site; instead, an institute of nuns called “figlie di Sant’ Anna” welcomed us, and a nun was there… in short, it didn’t meet my expectations.

“Comfortable, basic accommodation in excellent location”

Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Hotel is quiet, but close to all amenities and the T2 tram which made it very easy to get to from the Airport. The nuns were very kind and attentive and the gardens are beautiful. I would recommend the rooms with a balcony as these overlook the lovely gardens and you can hear the nuns singing in the afternoon/early evening which is lovely
