The spot is right on the beach, and the staff were super friendly; they heard we were from China, cheered about Jackie Chan, and even said “thank you.” They never managed to say “goodbye” before we left. The bathroom water pressure was a bit weak.

The staff’s friendliness is unbeatable. That’s definitely an 11 out of 10. 😉 The location right on the beach is great. There are lounge chairs with mats and beach towels. The beach is a perfect sandy beach with bars and dive centers nearby. The rooms are very clean and spacious: I’d say they’re a cut above standard. We booked with breakfast included, which gave us three options to choose from in the morning: we chose between continental and Sri Lankan. A tip for management—based on our experience at other hotels on this trip—a small fruit plate to go with it would be great. Many thanks to everyone. %

The location right on the beach. The breakfast was pretty decent. They cleaned the bungalow, changed sheets and towels every day. The staff, especially the reception guy, were very attentive and friendly and always on top of everything. I don’t know about the other rooms, but the bungalow we stayed in was very old, the bathroom needs urgent repair, bad drainage and old, although they cleaned it every day. They charge a 10% service fee on anything you order at the restaurant, for now the only place in Sri Lanka where they’ve done that.

“We wanted to stay longer! Best beachside spot”

We absolutely loved our stay at Golden Beach. It is simple, no frills and perfect. Our kids (and us) played all day in the ocean, relaxed in the hammocks and walked along the beach. All the staff were lovely…so kind and welcoming. Special shout out to Elil who was just amazing. So grateful for our stay here! Nothing to add.

“思い出に残る滞在となりました”

ビーチに面していて、部屋が清潔で広い。 立地もお値段も良かったですが、何よりスタッフが親切で丁寧でした。 今回、小学生の娘と滞在中に娘が体調不良になったのですが、現地の病院を紹介してくれ、朝食なども全て部屋に運んでくれました。顔を合わせる度に、娘の容態を気にしてくれて、おかゆを作るために少量のご飯も分け与えて頂きました。 本当にお世話になりました。 ありがとうございました！ The hotel is right on the beach, and the room was clean and spacious. The location and price were both great, but what impressed us the most was how kind and attentive the staff were. During our stay, my elementary school-aged daughter became unwell. The staff kindly recommended a local hospital and helped us with everything we needed. They even brought our breakfast and other meals directly to our room. Every time they saw us, they asked how my daughter was feeling and showed genuine concern for her. They even shared a small amount of rice with us so that I could make her some rice porridge. We were truly grateful for all their help and kindness during such a difficult time. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us!. あまり思い浮かばないのですが 強いていうならベッドのマットレスがわたしには少し柔らかかったです I honestly can’t think of anything in particular. If I had to mention one thing, the mattress was a little too soft for my personal preference
