We were greeted warmly, got a parking spot, and our suite was spotless and airy—no mosquitoes at all. It’s just a short walk to downtown, which was handy since it was a weekend with few dining options, but the inn’s atmosphere made up for it. Nothing fell short of what we expected.

Our room was tidy and practical, and the bathroom was surprisingly roomy with a hot shower. Breakfast was solid and there was plenty of parking space. The spot works best if you’re driving, since you take a little dirt road into town, and Rodrigo was always courteous and helpful.

The place is tucked away and feels really cozy, perfect if you’re after some peace and quiet. The only downside is that they don’t serve dinner on site.

Everything was top‑notch, especially the warm welcome from Rodrigo and his mother, Maristela, who were constantly attentive and kind. We originally booked just one night, but ended up staying a second because we felt so relaxed and cared for. The whole experience at Eco Parque Cachoeira Moxafongo was unforgettable, and we only wish we could have lingered longer.
