Staff helpful & friendly. Bathrooms & room barely cleaned. Mould on room ceiling. Bathrooms below average, both male & female (shared) bathroom

“Offered a full refund but were told to do it through booking.com. That has been ineffective thus far”

The staff were welcoming. Bistro meals were quite good. We arrived a little after 6pm and were shown to our room which was not made up. We were then given the room next door which was a smaller room with two singles instead of a queen and a single. Later, after a meal and a couple of drinks, I was heading to bed and noticed that the pillow was wet and the area under the pillow was wet. It turned out that water was leaking from the roof onto the bed. I spoke to the lady at the bar who came and looked. I suggested that they make up the room next door (our original room) but she said that room was now booked out and that they were fully booked. The furniture had to be rearranged and the bed re-made. The lady at the bar rang the manager/owner (and apologised) and offered me a full refund but said that I had to organise it because that was where I had paid for the accommodation

“Des nuits très bruyantes”

The bedding was decent, parking was available, and the shower was hot. The noise was a catastrophe: pigeons made a lot of noise all night (really loud) and the pub next door played loud music until 2:40 a.m. without any control, making it hard to sleep.
