The food is perfect, with a wide selection and especially tasty dishes. Cleanliness and the excellent location are top marks. We’ve been here twice already and plan to return next year. Nothing else comes to mind.

The hotel sits in a great spot and the rooms are well equipped. There are several nice pools with plenty of loungers, and the sea is a one‑minute walk away. The hotel organizes excursions and activities very well. This was our third stay at Hotel Alga, and the first two were completely fine. This time, however, we felt “manufactured” at the end of the season. The staff—from reception to waiters—seemed rather lackluster and irritated, with only a few friendly exceptions. The rooms weren’t truly clean, and the dining area was quite unappetizing. Every day the menu felt repetitive, as if they were trying to finish certain items before summer ended. The food was lukewarm or even cold on most days. The hotel was largely occupied by large senior‑tour groups, so in the dining room you often had to wait for a seat because most tables were reserved for the older guests, leaving very few spots for regular hotel guests. Overall, the once‑lovely Hotel Alga has taken a direction that we don’t like, and we’ll probably choose a different hotel next year.
