Pictures don’t do it justice; the lodge/caravan was huge, everything was so clean and modern, and the bed was really comfy too.

The caravan was very nice and very clean and had modern furniture within and was very comfortable. No cleaning materials such as dishcloth, washing up liquid or bin bags were in the Van, and no toilet roll was present. A stay for one night I would expect the above to be provided. Very poor. There was also not WiFi provided and I respect this is not a given, but with 3 young children and the area having poor phone signal in general, WiFi would have been a good benefit. The gas cooker kept tripping the gas shut off. This happened on the Sat evening and Sunday morning so could not cook any hot food for breakfast. Owner did not take any responsibility for this issue blaming the park maintenance. The caravan was not rented through the park, it was rented so it was his responsibility. Asked for a token refund (not all) and was only offered 15% of a future booking. Why would I want to book this again after having the above issues. I think this an insult. As a landlord myself, I feel this is very poor and I personally will not book this again. We paid £199.50 for the stay and to witness the above is very poor standards. Think the owner really needs to look at the situation from the renters view and provide basic cleaning materials and to blame the park for his cooker tripping the gas, well you cannot make it up. ☹️

A very spacious and clean caravan, located a 5‑minute walk from the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean and well presented. Good position on the site with parking right outside. Nice view of the lake from the decking
