“Great stay, but...”
The staff is very friendly although bad at English. They jump through hoops to grant you every wish or need you may have, like driving to the shop for super glue. Really exceptional service. The hotel is also very clean, and has a beautiful garden. The breakfast was also amazing. All in all we had a great stay. Some facilities listed like bathtub weren't there. Also soundproof walls seem like a lie as there were literal holes and cracks in the corners of the walls. Lights in the pool were not attached to the walls of the pool; they were just floating around. Comparing prices to other things in Hikkaduwa, I do think the value for money is off with this hotel. Rating it as a 5-star hotel is clearly wrong. On Google it is listed as a three-star hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with a spacious and clean room that provided a perfect retreat from the outside world. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay truly special. We also appreciated the complimentary tuk tuk ride to the main street and back, which allowed us to explore the area with ease. The quiet neighborhood and swimming pool were additional bonuses that made our stay even more enjoyable.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our little one loved the pool and exploring the neighborhood, and we appreciated the free tuk tuk ride to the city each day. While the beds were a bit firmer than we're used to, we found it to be a minor quibble in an otherwise fantastic experience.

The staff and the chef are amazing at cooking and did everything to make you feel at home. I accidentally took the hotel key with me and was called to find out where I was. The manager told me to wait there and that I would be taken care of. What a service. Oh, and the surroundings with birds, monkeys, and lizards are great.
