If you’re hunting for a budget pet‑friendly hotel, this could fit the bill, but you get what you pay for. The bed was comfy and clean. Our non‑smoking room smelled of stale smoke. The ice machine was broken, the pool was drained, and a large hole was punched in the lower wall of the bathroom. The carpet was worn, stained, and coming away from the wall in several spots, so we usually only stay at motels with hard‑surface floors these days for that reason. The manager was friendly and would have swapped rooms if we’d asked, but we were exhausted and had already unloaded our suitcases by the time we closed the door and smelled the stale smoke. The wall‑mounted A/C unit was on, but both knobs and the face‑plate were missing, so we had to trial‑and‑error the settings. The bedside lamp had one bulb missing, leaving only dim light. The TV worked, and there was a refrigerator and microwave, though the microwave could have used a deep clean. I should have taken photos for you to see and decide for yourself.
