We stayed in a relatively spacious room on the second floor with a balcony, a decent‑sized bathroom, and a large shower that provided plenty of hot water. The room was lovely—refurbished yet featuring beautiful exposed stone that added real character. It’s accessible by spiral staircase or lift and sits in an excellent spot, just a short walk along a pedestrianised street (watch the road crossings) from the main railway station and right on the edge of the old town. The roof terrace is a nice touch. Pierluigi gave clear, timely access instructions and was very helpful. Nothing really stood out as negative; the only tiny complaints were that the clothes rails are very high—too high for anyone under about 1.8 m—and the lift moves quite slowly. Those are the only criticisms we have, and they didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the room, which shows how much we liked it.
