I had a mixed stay at the hotel, enjoying its location and staff but being let down by my room's cleanliness

“Nicht zu empfehlen, es sei denn man ist lediglich zum Schlafen im Zimmer - ich habe mich geekelt ohne Schuhe durchs zimm”
The location is excellent. The rooms were extremely dirty, the furnishings were outdated, there was no lift, and the bathroom smelled bad.
The location is unbeatable for exploring the centre, especially the Republic and North Avenue, and nearby restaurants and a grocery store are a plus; Sas fast food is right next door. A serious incident happened during our stay, but the staff handled it well and offered fair compensation. I especially value Karen, who is a real asset to the team. The rooms could use an upgrade: the décor feels old, the family passage feels dark and unsettling, the bathroom lacks a bidet, there’s no elevator, and there’s no parking at all—you have to move your luggage very quickly so you don’t block traffic.
“2 night stay.”
A clean, good‑size room with a comfy bed and air‑conditioning. The location is very central and the staff, especially Karen at reception, were friendly and helpful. The curtains were a bit dated and didn’t cover the whole window.
“I bassi standard ci hanno rovinato il soggiorno a Yerevan, soprattutto la carenza di sonno.”
The hotel sits right in the centre, only about 100 m from Piazza della Repubblica, but as soon as we arrived they asked us to cancel four of the five nights we’d booked and pay the balance up front in exchange for a discount; we refused and pointed out how unfair that was. We also discovered a cockroach in one of the rooms, and the room facing the street was extremely noisy, with traffic audible until 3 am. The blind curtains were too short to cover the window, so light streamed in both at night and at dawn. The bed sheets were short, and the mattress was exposed as soon as we sat down. One of the toilet flush levers was broken and left on the floor for the whole stay.
A spacious, fully furnished flat in central Yerevan linked to a hotel with 24‑hour reception. The hotel‑flat combo offers great benefits, plus air‑conditioning. The only downside is slightly more traffic on the street due to the central location, but that didn’t bother me.
