I was thrilled to find the hotel right on the beach, and the bar and customer service were spot on, giving me the rest and reset I needed. The only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough to discover anything we didn’t like.

The room was great, and the pool and deck were fantastic, and the tiki bar was a highlight. I didn’t realize there was a $15 parking fee until I got there, and I was also surprised by a $50 daily incidentals charge that wasn’t mentioned beforehand. I tried to pay with cash, only to learn the property doesn’t accept it, and we normally pay cash on vacation. Locals can park for free to visit the tiki bar, yet guests are charged for no clear reason. Several people at the pool complained about this and were unhappy.
