Located on the village edge, very quiet with a superb view, yet only about 10 minutes on foot to the town centre where restaurants, bars and shops are. An excellent base for exploring the area during the day and relaxing in the pool or on a walk at night.

The room view, the quiet and the surrounding countryside were positives. The common areas were not clean, the staff didn’t speak English, there was flooding in the garden and in the room, and there was no service beyond breakfast.

The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The view from my room was breathtaking—so much that I could have spent all day lying on the bed staring out the huge windows. The spot is perfect; just a 5‑second walk from the hotel you’re enveloped by rice fields, lotus ponds, mountains, and a host of ducks, butterflies, and goats, with fireflies lighting up the night. Getting to local restaurants and shops is a breeze, and the pool is huge. Breakfast leaned toward local flavors, but the owner kindly made me bread and eggs because I wasn’t a fan of the pho, which looked great but wasn’t my choice. The dining tables could use a bit more tidiness, yet these minor issues didn’t detract from the overall positive experience, and the price was great value.

Trang An rice field homestay is truly remarkable! The family that runs it is extremely kind and helpful. The lady let us pick our room, arranged a taxi for us, and was lovely throughout. Her daughter is very sweet and their little boy is a ray of sunshine. The homestay sits right in the middle of the rice paddies, offering quietness while still being close to plenty of restaurants and markets. The swimming pool is fantastic. I highly recommend this place and would love to return.
