“Génial !”
The room was huge and offered a fantastic view of the famous train tracks, the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was incredible! It’s a bit steep, so you need to be in shape, but it’s definitely worth it. Nothing to add.
The mountain‑view room was gorgeous, spacious and spotless, and the outdoor netting was perfect for lying down at night to watch fireflies; I’d recommend it wholeheartedly. It’s only a 10‑minute tuk‑tuk ride from the centre, the breakfast was excellent, but you can hear the other guests talking in the mornings.
Everything was great: the owner was very welcoming, the view was excellent with a large balcony and a net for watching and photographing, and the room was huge at night. The AC wasn’t cooling, but the owner fixed it right away. They arranged breakfast to fit our schedule and provided a vegetarian option—if you go to Elle, this is a must‑stay.

The nets are a fantastic experience for watching the train, but when booking we weren’t given approximate passing times to plan around. The family room was huge, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful with pancakes, eggs, etc., and the host was incredibly kind, helpful, and present. We paid $102 for the only available family room for one night, which felt a bit high, and at that price I’d have expected at least two sets of coordinated towels. Overall, it was too expensive.

The rooms are simply fabulous with a breathtaking panoramic view. Some things don’t work perfectly, like the in‑room projectors or the Wi‑Fi, which occasionally has issues, but nothing major.
