“WORST NIGHTMARE, MOST WICKED OWNER!”
I actually like the place. The place is not too spacious so it really fits our supposed to be event. The whole experience! We paid in full but when we arrived at the place, the house was closed and no one was inside. We tried numerous times to call the owner before she answered but to my surprise, she said that she wasn’t informed that there was a booking. I told her how I booked the place and she told me that she does not have an account with anymore. She even asked me why I paid via the website so I explained the process of booking the property which in her listing, we are required to pay the full non‑refundable amount prior to the check‑in date. She was so rude that she told me to contact because it was a scam. I insist that this is not the first time I booked on your website but this is the first time I have had that experience. She said that for professionalism, she will have her neighbour break the lock so we can enter inside. That's what happened but since the door going inside the house is locked, we stayed at the balcony for 3 hours before she decided to send the keys via lalamove. When the rider arrived, we even paid for the delivery fee amounting to 356. We have an agreement then that once she receives the payment, she will refund the delivery fee. We got the key at around 2:30 AM but when we were inside the house, she instructed her staff to restrict other rooms and let us use just 1 room. I refused because aside from the fact that I booked a 4 room private place that can accommodate 13 persons, we have already experienced so much hassle with what she did. When I checked on the website to take a picture of the booking details, the status has already changed from confirmed to canceled by property. Out of so much anger, we decided to just leave. When the owner was informed, she mentioned that she wanted to hold us back because she told us that we already used electricity which I believe would not even cost a hundred pesos since it was just lights compared to the delivery fee that we paid.
