The location is great for downtown and you don't have to worry about parking; the shuttle was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant at the top of the building was superb. Nothing else to complain about.

The complimentary shuttle to downtown Charleston was incredibly useful and appreciated, with a driver who even took us around the battery and Rainbow Row; the staff were very friendly, the restaurant food was excellent, and the lobby ice cream was a delightful surprise. However, the bathroom in our room had mildew or mold around the door, there were no umbrellas at the pool so shade was missing, one elevator was broken and the other moved too slowly with many people using it, and the most frustrating part was exiting the parking lot onto the highway—it was very difficult to pull out.
