“Descanso en la sierra Sur de Jaén”
Each house had little tables with chairs that felt like a terrace, the lighting details and the pool were spot‑on, and the outdoor area was cleverly arranged. The beds were comfortable and the house was exceptionally clean. The games room was a hit with its vintage arcade machines, foosball and pool table, and there was a fridge stocked with local products at good prices. They even left an old‑style coffee maker in the games room because ours didn’t use capsules, which was a nice touch. On the downside, the heating (or cooling) was controlled by the owner, and we had to contact him two or three times to raise the temperature because it was cold when we arrived. There was no oven and only a few kitchen utensils, which is manageable for one or two nights. The Wi‑Fi signal was barely adequate. Small issues, not serious, but they could be improved; overall it was a good stay.

Everything was perfect—definitely an exceptional rural house for a few days. Despite the cold, the houses felt great. There was everything needed for cooking and a room with pool and foosball. The owners were very attentive and served us well. We ran out of firewood, and they promptly brought new bundles. The only thing to note is that there were no basic cooking or hygiene items like oil, salt, gel, or shampoo; you need to come prepared.

Everything about our stay was fantastic – everything was a perfect 10. From the moment we walked in we loved it; the place is beautifully maintained, the cleaning immaculate, the beds unbelievably comfortable, and overall it was a truly special experience.

The treatment from Toni, the owner, was fabulous. The house “La Fuente” had excellent facilities: a fireplace for winter chill, a kitchen with a stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a “Dolce Gusto” coffee machine, a large comfortable sofa, a big dining table, and a large TV (you’ll need to bring your own Fire TV or Google TV because no platform is offered). The group of houses shares a pool, a game room with pool and darts (a bit neglected), and a retro 80s‑90s machine. Cleaning quality was extraordinary—few houses reach this level. Ideal for several families or couples. Don’t forget Toni’s excellent service; it’s crucial when renting a house. The mattress was too soft for our taste, limiting sleep quality; the Wi‑Fi coverage was weak, so we had to bring our phone close to share the signal with the Fire TV. A few cleaning supplies were missing—dishwasher tablets, bleach, and coffee capsules—but these were minor details.

The cabins were well equipped, the host was friendly, the common area let all of us gather, and the barbecues were great. The natural surroundings were beautiful, we did the ravine trail and it was really nice. There was no soap or gel in the bathrooms, which could use improvement. Hot water sometimes failed, especially in the first cabin and during shower time.
