The exterior is superb, the buffet is truly excellent, and the location is great with a good value for money. The rooms feel outdated, and the bathroom could use a renovation.

The cabin matched the photos, a touch larger than expected, and was lovely with comfy beds and sofa; the basic kitchen was fine, though we stayed at the B&B and dined at the hotel, so we didn’t use it. The sauna was a highlight. We rented a car, which was easy to park, and the location was only 20‑30 minutes from Rovaniemi, yet it felt remote, overlooking a beautiful lake day and night; we strolled through trees and across a frozen lake. We didn’t get lucky with the Northern Lights during our stay because it was snowy, but it was still an amazing visit. Leaving was a bit of a let‑down.

The hotel is very chic and old-fashioned, tucked in the forest right in the middle of nature. The food selection was very good, and having the only room with a built‑in sauna was amazing. It does feel a bit old and dated in some aspects, and the advertised EV charging station wasn’t working.
