The room was pleasant, cozy, and clean; there is an outdoor courtyard for guests to sit, and the newly opened tavern in old‑style décor serves classic Czech cuisine, adding to the pension’s comfort. The room equipment is up to standard, the self‑service pension runs smoothly, and overall the stay was comfortable with pleasant interactions.

The location of the inn and the simple key‑handing process were convenient. The room was a bit small, but that didn’t bother us too much.

The hotel is in the city center and offers a beautiful view. I’m not a fan of the self‑check‑in. The room was very small, and there was a fridge in the hallway. Paying 2700 CZK (110 €) per person does not match the level of service I received.

I was completely satisfied. Staying at the inn above the quarry was a pleasant surprise. The spot on Kašperských Hor Square is lovely, with plenty of free parking. I praise the comfortable beds and the ample supply of toiletries and towels in desirable sizes—a rarity. Women also get cosmetic supplies (e.g., for shaving and hygiene wipes). The view is directly over Kašperských Hor Square, overlooking the quarry and St. Markéta’s Church. Nearby are several museums (Toy Museum, Šumava Museum, Historical Motorbike Museum). The dominant landmark is Kašperk Castle. The town is suitable for exploring Šumava. Close to the inn is a wide selection of restaurants encouraging good lunches, dinners, or just a sit‑down with excellent local beer. The town is known from the filming of the series “Police Blue.” Communication with the owner lady and the key hand‑over were flawless. I highly recommend it.
