Located between Bușteni and Sinaia, Complex Cochet Bușteni offers a unique experience. The hotel features a private trout fishing area, where guests can catch their own dinner, prepared by the on-site chef. Each room boasts a balcony and safety deposit box, while bathrooms are equipped with showers and hairdryers. The hotel includes an indoor pool, sauna, and massages, as well as a restaurant, bar, and private dining areas with fireplaces or gazebos.

The breakfast was good and varied. A month before the stay I sent an email with the details I wanted on the invoice, but upon arrival I was told that this was no longer possible and that I had not notified in time, so it was too late. After the first night we had a towel taken from the room and it was never replaced. They also emptied the trash bin but didn’t give us a new bag. The location is quite far from Busteni, and the walk to town is very noisy and dangerous.

The hotel sits at the foot of the mountains, next to a forest, with a wonderful view from the balcony. In the morning you get a beautiful sunrise view (at least from our room). Right off the hotel road you head into the forest and start the trail to the Howling Falls, which is what we did first after checking in. I recommend it. The staff are very friendly. The room, the hallways, and everything else are very clean and nicely arranged. The bathroom is also clean and equipped with everything needed; we even had a jacuzzi tub for a little extra relaxation. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Just for info—the room was on the third floor, which was fine for me, but my older mother found it a bit harder. I’ll attach two photos, one from the balcony and one from outside. We were satisfied with the hotel. Thanks and best of luck in the future!
