The living room had a fridge and microwave, but you couldn't cook; I bought groceries from the supermarket, ate them in the hotel, and chilled a cold beer. A brunette woman at reception was very friendly, empathized with me after I told her I had been robbed in Amsterdam, and tried hard to understand my broken English mixed with Spanish—I'm grateful for that. However, a slightly plump receptionist at reception didn’t slow down when I asked her to speak slowly, kept speaking as if I were an English expert, and made a dismissive gesture when I didn’t understand. In the lounge they sell a few items; I bought a Red Bull priced at three euros, she took the three euros and asked me to pay four.
