“Enjoyable stay because we played the Marco Simone golf course and hired a car to get into the city”
Location is some way out of the main city. If you want to see the sites of Rome it is quite difficult to obtain a taxi; if you manage to get one then even the price to get to the nearest tube line is very expensive. If you want to play Marco Simone golf resort and have a relaxing break; then the location was good. Good continental breakfast, avoid the first cup of coffee in the morning as it tends to be luke warm until the machine gets going after a few dispensers. Staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive. Bedrooms cleaned daily. Apart from the drive in and out of the city we enjoyed our stay. Not a lot to do if you are staying without transport. Restaurant only opens a few hours in the evening and you have to pre-book a table. We found this out by trying to obtain a table; even though there were only two couples seated in a restaurant of 30 to 40 covers our request for a table was declined because we didnt pre book. Even just for a coffee !! which I found very surprising
