Great location near the impressive reconstruction of Yingtianmen Gate; the metro is a few minutes away and connects the hotel to Luoyang Longmen station, and a bus stop a few minutes from the hotel links directly to the famous Buddhist caves. One metro stop away is the most historic and lively part of the city. The staff is very welcoming and attentive to guests’ needs, especially international ones, and at check‑out they gave me a nice box of local sweets. The hotel is a two‑storey guesthouse with an inner courtyard—cozy and intimate, less anonymous than typical large hotels or skyscrapers. There should also be a terrace offering a nice view of Yingtianmen, but I didn’t have time to use it. A bottle of water is provided daily, a kettle is present, the room is comfortable and clean, and breakfast is excellent, varied, and plentiful. However, there are no coffee or instant tea sachets despite having a kettle.

“Convenient and helpful staff”

Smooth check‑in and easy access to the city’s tourist spots, plus staff who spoke English well; would recommend to anyone visiting Louyang. Breakfast was nice, though a few empty containers and leftover items were left on tables in the rooftop standing area—otherwise nothing else.

Very close to Yingtianmen and the two towers, nothing to complain about.
