The meals were especially delicious; I booked both breakfast and dinner and ate the same dishes every day, all cooked with care. The hotel was clean, not crowded, and the owner’s family was warm and friendly. Every day offered different food, all with great taste and quality. Transport was convenient, and the hotel provided shuttle to the train station and ski resort, though walking to the Sanmuta cable car took 5 minutes. Overall, great; I’ll choose K·lodge again when I return to Tangzhai.

The place was spotless and kept in great shape; the sheets were incredibly cozy and the AC really cut through the summer heat. We were there for Fuji Rock, and the spot is perfect for catching the shuttle to the venue and back, plus the lodge even ran a free shuttle to the station the next day. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. On the downside, if you’re picky, the walls feel a bit thin, but that’s normal for most Japanese hotels, and the other guests were quiet enough not to make a fuss with the thin walls.

I was nervous about my first ski trip and everything before staying, but each detail was explained carefully, which was reassuring. The shuttle and ski equipment rental services were also a big help. Nothing negative to note.
