The pool is great and the overall accommodation is good, but the bathroom feels old, the hotel exterior is quite basic and needs renovation, and the surroundings are very deserted; there are good restaurants a short walk away, but for a 5‑star I’m disappointed.

Check‑in and check‑out were quick, and a perfect Japanese restaurant sits 25 meters from the hotel for a last meal, but there’s no in‑house restaurant, the pool wasn’t clean, and the air‑conditioning system didn’t work well.

The staff were professional, the facilities were clean and well managed, but breakfast was always the same and I would have liked more variety.

Our trip with Emirates to Dubai landed us once again at the hotel close to BKK Airport. Over two nights we enjoyed a flexible late checkout—thanks to the staff—and the location proved useful for sorting out flight changes with quick trips to the Emirates office in Bangkok and the airport standby desk. In between we made good use of the lovely, quiet pool.
