The beds were good and the place was clean. We had booked a Deluxe double room, and the description claimed there would be an oven in the room, which was also shown in the photos. When we arrived, we discovered that only a microwave was available, which was disappointing especially after buying an oven‑ready meal. The reception was unmanned, so we called immediately and were told that all rooms only have microwaves and no ovens. This was a let‑down, especially since we had paid extra for the Deluxe room. The photos and description did not match what we booked. The attached photos and description belong to a different room, not ours. I just received a message calling my review "unverschämt" and saying the description on Booking is just an indication. In my opinion, the description should state whether there is an oven or a microwave, and the photos should be consistent; you shouldn’t only show ovens for the Deluxe room.

Everything was delicious, and there was a fridge to buy drinks. The shelf above the bed added nothing and made it hard to sit upright in bed to read. Basic salt, pepper, and oil were available in the kitchen.

The steep stairs to the apartment were not mentioned in the description and pose a challenge for older people. ARD TV could not be received, so we couldn’t watch the German‑participating World Cup match on the TV, and the owner could not help. The rooms were extremely hot, with only two small windows fitted with fly screens that could be opened. We should have ventilated earlier in the heat or been provided a fan. Recharging the ice packs was impossible in the fridge without a freezer compartment. Breakfast was not possible on either day.
