The place was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated having two separate rooms—a bedroom and a living room—plus a nice terrace. However, several problems made the stay less comfortable than we’d hoped. There were no hooks or convenient spots to hang towels, and the apartment doors were hard to unlock with no clear instructions for the locks. The plastic coffee cups were low quality, and while a fridge was present, there were no plates or knives, making it hard to eat or store food. A light switch near the entrance didn’t control any light, so we arrived after dark without knowing this. The shower head had no place to attach, and the bathroom floor was slippery, posing a safety risk. The entrance area was uncomfortable because a covered opening/staircase in the ground near the apartment seemed to belong to another part of the property. More troubling, a corridor in front of our apartment allowed owners or other people to access it while we were sleeping; we could hear doors opening and people passing through, which left us feeling uneasy and lacking privacy. The missing basic amenities and the lack of privacy and security were the biggest concerns, and clearer instructions, better equipment, and more attention to guest privacy would greatly improve the stay.
