The place was spotless, cozy, and kept in good shape, and the spot was handy; the staff and host were warm and helpful, making everything feel safe and calm. Only a handful of tiny issues popped up, but they didn’t spoil the overall experience.

I was at Asha Lodge from 4th November to 30th November (27 days) while getting ready for exams at Dhulikhel Hospital, and the spot was super convenient—just a 10–15 minute walk from the hospital, which made my daily routine a lot easier. The staff were incredibly supportive, especially Mr. Madan, who was always quick to reply and went out of his way to keep me comfortable. He set up a table and chair in my room so I could study, gave me a hot water bag, an iron, and even a room heater (normally you’d have to pay daily, but he made sure I had everything I needed for the cold nights). Once I couldn’t find an InDrive ride, he even rode his motorbike to Dhulikhel Hospital for me. That kind of hospitality is rare and really mattered. The food was tasty, though I couldn’t get the Nepali thali set most days because they only prepare it for at least five guests—understandable since there were fewer guests during my stay. All in all, Asha Lodge is a comfy, welcoming spot, perfect for students, visitors to Dhulikhel Hospital, or anyone looking for a peaceful long‑stay option.
