The location was good, the rooms were fairly new, and the coffee shop downstairs offered free tea and coffee. However, I had booked a room with a balcony, but there was none. The coffee shop downstairs had no bathroom, and we would have liked a coffee machine and kettle in the room.

The location was good. The twin beds were uncomfortable and there were stairs.

Great location - close to walk to everything - old town, cathedrals, canals, train station, restaurants, etc. Staff were fantastic - so helpful. Bed was comfy, room was basic but good size & clean. Pretty quiet too considering location. No lift - stairs are v.steep & winding., thankfully staff helped with suitcases. Smell of marijuana around Cafe downstairs was v.strong. but its same in lots of places in Amsterdam
