“Large room, good location, but payment mix‑up”
The room was huge and nicely appointed, and it’s just a short walk from the new Chabad house, which was super convenient. The price of about 380 yuan a night felt fair. The only hiccup was that I booked online, showed up at 11 pm and was told the reservation was void because I hadn’t paid by 4 pm, so I had to scramble for another place for one night. By the next day everything was sorted and the stay turned out fine overall.
“Dated, crowded, and language barrier at reception”
The hotel feels pretty dated and the corridors get cramped, especially when it’s busy. To make matters worse, the front desk staff didn’t speak any English, which was a hassle when I needed help.
